Mix the dried yeast, baking powder, salt, jogurt, soda water and flour together into a fine and nice dough.
Izmješaj suhi kvasac, prašak za pecivo, sol, jogurt, kiselu vodu i brašno zajedno za finu i mekanu smjesu.
Place into lukewarm bowl that is covered lightly with oil all over. Cover with cloth and leave in warm place to rise. 1-2hrs.
Stavi smjesu u toplu posudu koja je obložena s malo ulja. Pokrij krpom i ostavi na toplom za 1-2 sata.
Press the dough around a bit again and leave again for another 15 mins.
Zgnječi tijesto malo i ostavi još nekih 15 minuta.
Take a baking tray, cover with oil or pig fat (NOT the 1 cup mentioned in the ingredients). Put down inside and flatten to spread to edges but don't worry if it doesn't, it will spread by itself in the oven anyway. Cover for 15mins and then in the oven at 180 degrees. When brownish gold, it's done.
Uzmi tepsiju i naulji s uljem ili svinjskom mašću (ne uzeti is one 1 čaše masti spomenuto u sastojcima). Stavi tijesto u tepsiju i malo pritisni da se raširi do krajeva (ako ne uspije doći do krajeva, ne brini, raširi se ona sama u rerni kada se stavi.) Pokrij krpom i ostavi da slegne 15 minuta, onda stavi u rernu na 180 stupnjeva. Kada posmeđi zlatkasto, gotovo je.
Take out of the oven. Sprinkle the top with a bit of water and cover with cloth for 4-5mins.
Izvadi iz rerne. Pospi s vodom malo o pokrij krpom za 4-5 minuta.
Use a long knife and cut/peel the top crust off. The soft dough inside cut into checker pieces (squares).
Koristeći dugi nož, skini/odreži gornju koru. The mekano tijesto u sredinu isijeći na kockice (kao na slici pokazano).
Heat the 1 cup of oil or pig fat in a pan. When very hot, pour over the pogača/dough. Make sure it doesn't litterally swim in the fat so you may have to add less.
Ugrij onu čašu ulja ili svinjske masti. Kada bude jako vruće, polij po isječenom mekom tijestu (pazite da doslovno ne pliva u masti).
Cover with top crust and then cloth and leave for 5 or so mins.
Vratite gornju koricu na nju i ona krpu i ostavite za 5 minuta ili manje.
Posluživanje
Serve with eggs inbetween the crust and soft parts. May add sliced red onions inbetween too (if you want softer sliced onions, place the on the softer layer and when you pour the hot oil, pour it over the dough and onions at the same time). Serve with sour cream on the side of the plate as well or as desired. This is how it's usually eaten in my family.
Poslužite s jajima ispod korice. Možete dodati i crveni luk ispod korice (ako želite mekani crveni luk, samo staviti na mekano tijesto prije i prelite mast preko nje kada budete prelijevali meki dio s mašću). Poslužite s kiselim vrhnjem na tanjuru ako želite. Ovako mi inače posluživmo pogaču :)
